Talcum Powder MDL Judge Orders Parties to Refile Daubert Motions




TRENTON, N.J. — The judge overseeing the talcum powder MDL docket has ordered the parties to refile their Daubert motions in light of “recent changes to Federal Rule of Evidence 702, the emergence of new relevant science, and the language of Chief Judge Wolfson's previous Daubert opinion.”

In a March 27 text order, Judge Michael Shipp of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey said the motions must be filed by July 23, and any oppositions by Aug. 22.
