WILMINGTON, Del. -- The judge overseeing the Delaware coordinated benzene docket has granted motions to dismiss several of the complaints on grounds that the lawsuits violate pleading standards. Pelous, et al. v. Behr Process Corp., et al., No. 05C-07-255; Penza, et al. v. Acuity Specialty Products, et al., No. 05C-07-019 (Del. Super. Ct., New Castle Cty.).

Judge Joseph R. Slights III of the Delaware Superior Court for New Castle County dismissed the lawsuits on April 3, but allowed the plaintiffs 90 days to refile with specific information, sources told HarrisMartin. The defendants had filed the motions to dismiss in two …
