Chemical Co. Supports Demurrer, Claims Plaintiffs Fail to Prove Causal Link

LOS ANGELES -- On July 26, a chemical company named as a defendant in a benzene lawsuit supported its demurrer, contending that despite numerous opportunities, the plaintiffs have only identified one product manufactured by the company and have not provided any causal link between that product and the plaintiffs' alleged injuries. Loyola, et al. v. Union Oil Co. of California, et al., No. BC280498 (Calif. Super. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).
