Zimmer Moves for New Trial in Wake of $7.68 Million Durom Hip Verdict

LOS ANGELES –– Zimmer Inc. has moved for a new trial in the wake of a $7.68 million verdict issued by a California jury at the conclusion of a Durom Cup hip implant trial, following a retrial on damages only.

Zimmer filed the motion on Sept. 19 before Judge Daniel J. Buckley of the Los Angeles County Superior Court.
