Jury Selection Begins in Asbestos Talcum Powder Action Against Colgate-Palmolive

LOS ANGELES –– Jury selection is underway in an asbestos talcum powder against Colgate-Palmolive in which the plaintiff says his use of Cashmere Bouquet led him to develop mesothelioma, sources confirmed to HarrisMartin.

Jury selection in the proceedings started June 28 in the California Superior Court for Los Angeles County. Judge Frederick C. Shaller has been assigned to the case.

Paul M. Garcia filed the complaint, contending that his malignant mesothelioma was caused by talc products manufactured, supplied, or distributed by Defendants, according to an amended joint statement of the case filed on June 25.
