2nd Amended Complaint Filed in Zimmer Biomet Oxford Knee Case

CLEVELAND — An Ohio man has filed a second amended complaint accusing Zimmer Biomet of negligently violating Current Good Manufacturing Practices by failing to adequately test its Biomet Oxford knee implant and not responding appropriately to adverse incident reports.

In an Oct. 4 filing in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, the plaintiff further accuses Zimmer of continuing to sell the Oxford System when it knew or should have known it was malfunctioning.
