Massachusetts Jury Reaches $6.8 Million Verdict in Asbestos Case Against New England Insulation

WOBURN, Mass. –– For the second time in as many weeks, a Massachusetts has issued a multi-million verdict in an asbestos case against New England Insulation, sources told HarrisMartin.

The Massachusetts Superior Court for Middlesex County jury reached its $6.8 million verdict on Sept. 29. Judge Heidi E. Brieger presided over the trial.

The plaintiffs asserted the claims on behalf of Timothy Ross, a part-time insulator when he was in middle and high school who later became a boiler repairman, saying that exposure to asbestos-containing products caused him to develop mesothelioma.
