Missouri Court Enters Final Judgment in Talc Case That Ended in $110 Million Verdict

ST. LOUIS –– A Missouri state court has entered a final judgment in a talcum powder case that ended in a $110 million verdict more than three months ago.

In the Aug. 3 judgment, the Missouri 22nd Judicial Circuit Court for St. Louis City entered punitive damages totaling more than $105 million and compensatory damages in the amount of $5,401,921.02.

“Pursuant to Supreme Court Rule 74.01(b), the Court finds there is no just reason for delay and hereby certifies this Judgment as final for purposes of appeal,” the judgment stated.
