HARRISBURG, Pa. –– A Pennsylvania federal court has granted a motion to stay a OtisKnee device lawsuit, halting movement in the case while the parties have discussions of whether a resolution of the case outside the judicial system was possible.

In the Feb. 6 order, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania stayed the case for 90 days.

The plaintiffs moved to stay the proceedings in a Feb. 2 motion, saying that “almost simultaneously” with the filing of the motion to dismiss, counsel for the parties began discussion “aimed at exploring whether a resolution of the case …
