N.Y. Jury Awards $75 Million in Asbestos Exposure Case; Dana Companies and Felt Products Found Liable

NEW YORK –– A New York jury has awarded $75 million to a couple who contended that exposure asbestos-containing engine components they encountered while completing recreational work on race cars caused one of them to develop mesothelioma.

The New York Supreme Court for New York County jury reached the verdict on Jan. 20 after a two-month trial, sources told HarrisMartin. Hon. Joan Madden presided over the trial.
