John Crane Files RICO Complaints Against Asbestos Plaintiff Firms, Cite ‘Fabrication of False Asbestos Exposure Histories’

CHICAGO –– John Crane Inc. has filed RICO complaints against a number of asbestos plaintiff firms, maintaining that the firms had falsely denied that their clients were exposed to a number of other asbestos-containing products in litigation against the defendant.

In separate complaints filed against the Shein Law Center and Simon Greenstone Panatier Bartlett in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois on June 6, asbestos defendant John Crane maintained that the plaintiff firms have “devised and implemented a scheme to defraud [John Crane] and others….”
