PHILADELPHIA — A Pennsylvania federal judge has remanded an action in which a premium recovery company is suing a reinsurance broker for tortious interference with contract, ruling that the company has asserted viable claims against the sole Pennsylvania-based defendant.
On April 21, Judge Timothy J. Savage of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Philadelphia concluded that the Pennsylvania citizen was not fraudulently joined because the plaintiff has pled sufficient facts and asserted viable legal theories to support its claims.
