HONOLULU –– A stipulation for dismissal with prejudice as to all claims has been filed in a knee implant suit pending in Hawaii, according to a recent docket entry.

The Nov. 9 stipulation filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Hawaii noted that the matter shall be dismissed with no costs or fees to either party.

Plaintiff Manual A. Sanchez filed the complaint in July 2014, alleging that the Depuy Sigma prosthesis implanted in his knee failed a little more than a year after it was implanted, forcing him to undergo numerous procedures and eventually revision surgery …
