NEW ORLEANS - A pharmaceutical company has filed a motion to dismiss the allegations of a Louisiana woman who claims she suffered strokes as a result of ingesting over-the-counter products that contained PPA, but who allegedly failed to assert her claims with adequate specificity. Knapper v. Wyeth Co., et al., No. 02-CV-02485 (E.D. La.).

The Aug. 12 motion states that Ann Knapper's lawsuit fails to state claims upon which relief can be granted and requests an order requiring the plaintiff to submit a more concise statement of her claims.
