Jury Finds for AstraZeneca in Seroquel Injury Case

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. - A New Jersey jury has found in favor of AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals in a Seroquel injury case, finding 7-1 that the drug maker adequately warned doctors of the risks posed by the antipsychotic drug. Baker v. AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals LP, No. MID-L- 1099-07 (N.J. Super., Middlesex Cty.).

After a four-week trial, jurors sitting in the Middlesex County (N.J.) Superior Court rejected allegations that the drug labeling was "vague, incomplete or otherwise inadequate."
