PHILADELPHIA - A cedent may present evidence of claims information that was allegedly withheld by a broker in marketing a building contractors insurance program to an Italian reinsurer, a Pennsylvania federal judge has ruled. United National Insurance Co. v. Aon Ltd., No. 04-539 (E.D. Pa.).

In an Aug. 9 order addressing various motions in limine made by United National Insurance Co. and Aon Ltd., U.S. District Judge Louis H. Pollak ruled that a jury could conclude from the information that loss ratios presented by the broker were misleading.
