INDIANAPOLIS - Various insurers are not liable to five corporations seeking coverage for silica exposure claims because the policies at issue were assigned to the companies in various mergers without the insurers' consent, the Indiana Supreme Court ruled Oct. 15. Travelers Casualty and Surety Co., et al. v. United States Filter Corporation, et al., No. 49S02-0712-CV-596, Ind. Sup.).
