Plaintiff Fails in Bid for Reconsideration of Limitations Ruling in Ala.

COLUMBIANA, Ala. - A state court judge has denied a request to reconsider a statute of limitations ruling which the plaintiff said failed to give full faith and credit to Mississippi case law that would have allowed her extra time to file the claim. Lee v. 3M Corp., et al., No. 58-cv-2007-900524.00 (Ala. Cir. Ct., Shelby Cty.).
The order was issued Nov. 20 by Shelby County Circuit Court Judge Hewitt L. Conwill without a written decision. Judge Conwill previously dismissed the case as time-barred after it was re-filed in Alabama subject to the one-year tolling provision contained in Mississippi's savings …
