Plaintiffs Wrapping Up in Latest Welding Products MDL Trial

CLEVELAND - Attorneys for plaintiff Eddie Byers are expected to conclude their presentation of testimony on Friday, Nov. 14 or on the following Monday in the latest federal welding products MDL trial, sources have told HarrisMartin Publishing. Byers v. Lincoln Electric Co., et al., No. 1:04-CV-17033 [In re: Welding Fume Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 1535; No. 1:03-CV-17000] (N.D. Ohio).

Trial began on Nov. 3 in a case brought by Alabama residents Eddie and Joyce Byers, alleging that Mr. Byers suffered physical and emotional injuries from exposure to fumes from defendants welding products.
