Judge Sets Nov. 5 Hearing on Product Identification Motion

OAKLAND, Calif. - An Alameda County Superior Court judge has scheduled a hearing for Nov. 5 on defendants' motion for summary judgment on product identification grounds in a case scheduled for trial on Dec. 1. Thomas, et al. v. A.O. Smith Corp., et al., No. RG-06-272122 [Welding Products Cases, JCCP No. 4368] (Calif. Super. Ct., Alameda Cty.).
In an order filed on Sept. 30, following up on a Sept. 17 status conference, Superior Court Judge Robert Freedman ordered Thomas to filed a supplemental opposition to the defense motion by Oct. 22 and he gave defendants until Oct. 29 to reply.
