Ohio Appellate Court to Hear Argument on Summary Judgment Oct. 15

CLEVELAND - An Ohio appellate court has scheduled argument for Oct. 15 in an appeal by a former welder of various trial court orders granting summary judgment on most of his claims against manufacturing defendants. Boyd v. Lincoln Electric Co., et al., No. CA-07-090315 (Ohio Ct. App., 8th Dist.).
The 8th Appellate District agreed in July to reinstate the appeal, after dismissing it on procedural grounds, and later rescheduled argument from its original Aug. 27 date at the request of appellant Joseph Boyd (See HarrisMartin's Litigation Watch: Welding Fumes, July 2008).
