LOS ANGELES - A California silica defendant is urging a trial court judge to reject a nearly $41,000 settlement agreement between plaintiffs and a co-defendant, claiming it may have been part of a packaged deal and was reached without knowing the value of the plaintiffs' claims. Garcia v. J.R. Simplot Co., et al., No. BC371395 (Calif. Super. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).
