Welding Fumes MDL Court Schedules Another Trial for March

CLEVELAND - The judge overseeing the Welding Fume has chosen the case of a former Iowa welder for the next bellwether trial beginning on March 4. Cooley v. Lincoln Electric Co., et al., No. 05-CV-17734 [MDL Docket No. 1535; Case No. 1:03-CV-17000] (N.D. Ohio).

Judge Kathleen O'Malley of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio also said in her Sept. 15 order that the bellwether trial following Cooley, not yet chosen, will begin on Sept. 14, 2009.
