CLEVELAND - Attorneys for MDL plaintiff Eddie D. Byers has moved to quash subpoenas for information on Byers' health or medical screenings. Byers v. Lincoln Electric Co., et al., No. 1:04-cv-17033 [MDL Docket No. 1535] (N.D. Ohio).

Attorney Scott O. Nelson said in a July 30 motion that he has not been served but a subpoena seeking the information from Nelson was left with a receptionist at his Mississippi law firm on July 25. Attorney Richard R. Barrett filed a similar motion on July 31.
