OAKLAND, Calif. - Attorneys for a defendant in a case scheduled for trial on Dec. 1 have submitted a list of seven experts who could be called at trial. Thomas v. A.O. Smith, et al., JCCP No. 4368 [In re: Welding Products Cases] (Calif. Super. Ct., Alameda Cty.).
Stoody Co.'s attorneys noted that more names could be added for rebuttal or impeachment purposes.
Stoody is a defendant in a case brought by Elbert and Geraldine Thomas, who allege that Mr. Thomas suffers manganese-induced parkinsonism because of his use of defendants' products over a long career as a welder.
