MDL Court Dismisses Class Allegations in 6 Additional Cases

CLEVELAND - U.S. District Judge Kathleen M. O'Malley has dismissed class claims from six cases in which plainitffs sought to represent statewide classes and ordered plainitffs to amend their complaints within 60 days to assert individual claims only. In Re: Welding Fume Products Liability Litigation, No. 1:03-CV-17000 [MDL No. 1535] (N.D. Ohio).

Judge O'Malley, who oversees the federal multi-district Welding Fume Products Liability Litigation, said in her Aug. 4 order that the motion by defendants was unopposed.
