Calif. Bridge Welders Dismiss Claims Against Welding Products Manufacturers

OAKLAND, Calif. — The California bridge welders who are attempting to resolve a final dispute over allocation of insurance proceeds have agreed to dismiss any remaining claims against welding products manufacturers with prejudice. Aguirre, et al. v. ESAB, et al., No. RG-05-212890 (Calif. Super. Ct., Alameda Cty.).
The request for dismissal in welding products cases was filed by the Alameda County Superior Court Clerk May 22 on behalf of Francisco Aguirre and all plaintiffs other than Chris Hallstrom, and with respect to all defendants except IHI Environmental Inc., which has already been dismissed.
