U.S. Silica, Unimin, Mori Added to New Jersey Silica Complaint

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. - A judge has allowed a defendant in a sandblaster's silicosis lawsuit to file a third-party complaint against three entities it claims are responsible for causing the plaintiff's injuries. Douglas v. 3M Co., No. L-1840-06 (N.J. Super. Ct., Middlesex Cty.).
In a July 3 order, Middlesex County Superior Court Judge Ann G. McCormick granted Bonsal American's motion for leave to file the third-party complaint against defendants Mori Company, Unimin Corp. and U.S. Silica.
