MDL Court Remands Individual Cases to Ohio State Court

CLEVELAND - The federal court handling the welding fumes multidistrict litigation released two filings on July 8 in which it listed 20 individual cases that were being remanded to the Cuyahoga County (Ohio) Court of Common Pleas pursuant to a stipulation by the parties on May 23. In re: MDL 1535 Welding Rod Products Liability Litigation [No. 03-17000] (N.D. Ohio).

The lists of remanded cases were signed by Renee Schumitsch, MDL Coordinator for Judge Kathleen O'Malley of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
