PRYOR, Okla. - A judge in Oklahoma has dismissed more than two dozen silica cases after approximately 50 defendants argued that the complaints failed to provide even minimal notice concerning the nature of the allegations. Clark v. Airgas Safety, et al., No. CJ-2007-31 (Okla. Dist. Ct., Mayes Cty.).
Judge James D. Goodpaster of the Mayes County District Court issued the rulings July 7, granting the defendants' motions to dismiss that have been pending for more than a year.
