OAKLAND, Calif. - An environmental firm defending against claims by 47 workers on Oakland's Bay Bridge has responded to plaintiff's request for a separate trial on duty of care issues against that firm by arguing that the motion "makes no sense." Aguirre, et al. v. Welding Products Cases [In re: Welding Products Cases] No. JCCP 4368 (Calif. Super. Ct., Alameda Cty.).
IHI Environmental Inc. filed its opposition on April 28, asking the Alameda County Superior Court, which presides over California's coordinated welding fumes docket, to deny the motion.
