MDL Counsel Agree on Remand for 23 Ohio Cases

CLEVELAND - Judge Kathleen M. O'Malley has signed an order pursuant to a stipulation by counsel remanding 23 cases in the federal welding fumes MDL to Ohio state court. In Re: Welding Fume Products Liability Litigation, No. 1:03-CV-17000 [MDL Docket No. 1535]).

Judge O'Malley signed the proposed stipulated order on May 23.

Each of the 23 cases originated in the Ohio Court of Common Pleas for Cuyahoga County, but was removed to federal court and added to the list of cases in the multi-district litigation in 2004 and 2005.
