NEW ORLEANS - Defendants who prevailed in a recent trial of alleged welding fume injuries have asked the Louisiana trial court to award them $190,675.94 in costs, including expert witness fees. Andre v. A.O. Smith Corp., No. 2003-11573 and Barras v. A.O. Smith Corp., No. 2004-873 (La. Civ. Dist. Ct., Orleans Parish).
