Ohio Plaintiffs Voluntarily Dismiss Claims Against Some Defendants

CLEVELAND - A plaintiff whose case is scheduled for trial in January has voluntarily dismissed claims against several individual plaintiffs in recent weeks. Rector v. Lincoln Electric Co., et al., No. 04-cv-546711 (Ohio Ct. Comm. Pls., Cuyahoga Cty.).
The dismissal notices were filed after a recent case management order was entered, stipulating that plaintiffs would designate fact witnesses by April 7 and submit expert reports by April 28, and defendants would provide their experts and reports by June 30 (See HarrisMartin's Litigation Watch: Welding Fumes, Jan. 2008).
