OAKLAND, Calif. - Plaintiffs alleging injury in part because of the actions of an industrial hygienist assigned to a bridge repair project have asked the court overseeing California's coordinated welding fumes docket for a separate trial on claims against that defendant. Aguirre, et al. v. Welding Products Case [In re: Welding Products Cases] No. JCCP 4368 (Calif. Super. Ct., Alameda Cty.).

Francisco Aguirre and other plaintiffs filed their motion on April 11 and have asked for a hearing on May 9.
