LAUREL, Miss. - The widow of a plaintiff who filed an asbestos claim nearly 15 years before it was determined that he also suffered from silica-related cancer is challenging a motion for summary judgment based on the statute of limitations, arguing that the defendants ignore the fact that the claims are predicated on the diagnoses of two separate lung conditions.
