Pulmosan Cites Lack of Jurisdiction in Move to Dismiss Mo. Suit

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Pulmosan Safety Equipment Corp. has moved to dismiss a Missouri silica suit, arguing that by the time it had been filed, the dissolved company had not done any business in the state for more than 21 years. Herod v. Pulmosan Safety Equipment Corp., et al., No. 0716-CV-36788 (Mo. Cir. Ct., Jackson Cty.).

The motion, filed Feb. 27 in Jackson County Circuit Court, asserts that Pulmosan lacks the necessary minimum contacts with Missouri that would subject it to personal jurisdiction.
