Citing Betrayal, Clemco Seeks Realignment of Co-Defendant in La. Case

NEW ORLEANS - Clemco Industries has accused E.D. Bullard of colluding with plaintiffs in at least two pending silica cases where Bullard allegedly ambushed its co-defendants in exchange for an eventual outright dismissal from the cases. Mullins v. Mississippi Valley Silica Company Inc., et al., No. 02-18069 (La. Dist. Ct., Orleans Parish).

The allegations were made March 10 in an Orleans Parish (La.) District Court silica case in which Bullard and Clemco have been named defendants. Clemco wants the court to either re-align Bullard as a plaintiff in the case, or sever the plaintiff's claims against Bullard and proceed with …
