HOUSTON - A Texas judge has denied a motion for summary judgment and special appearance brought by Pulmosan Safety Equipment in a silica case where the company claimed the court had no jurisdiction over the defendant. Lamb v. Air Liquide America Corp., et al., No. 2005-66013 (Texas Dist. Ct., Harris Cty.).

Harris County District Court Judge Tracy Christopher ruled Feb. 14 that the facts of the case establish that Pulmosan intended to serve the Texas market at the time plaintiff William Lamb alleges that he used the company's product.
