CLEVELAND - A defendant that manufactures air-fed hoods has filed a motion to dismiss allegations that it is liable for causing a sandblaster's silica-related injury, arguing that its product never contained silica and, therefore, couldn't have caused the plaintiff's disease. Tsapranis v. Best Sand Corp., et al., No 506491 (Ohio Comm. Pls., Cuyahoga Cty.).
