Court Dismisses 2 Counts As Plaintiffs Rest in Jowers Trial in Miss.

GULFPORT, Miss. - Sources have told HarrisMartin Publishing that attorneys for Robert E. Jowers rested on Feb. 15, and defendants in the latest welding fumes MDL trial will begin presenting their case on Tuesday, Feb. 19. Jowers v. Arcos Industries, L.L.C., et al., No. 1:080CV-36-KMO-JMR [formerly No. 1:03-CV-17000, N.D. Ohio][MDL No. 1535, N.D. Ohio] (S.D. Miss.).

Sources also said that Judge Kathleen M. O'Malley, who oversees the Welding Fumes Multi-District Litigation in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio and is presiding over the Jowers trial, has dismissed two counts, one by stipulation.
