LOS ANGELES - An Ohio company that argued it was named in a California silica complaint despite having "almost non-existent" contacts with the state will be required to defend the action where it was originally filed, according to an order filed recently. Garcia, et al. v. J.R. Simplot Co., et al., No. BC371395 (Calif. Super. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).
