Silica Plaintiff Asks Court to Allow Inspection of Ala. Foundry

TALLEDAGA, Ala. - A former foundry worker has filed a motion in state court, seeking an order requiring his one-time employer to open its doors so his lawyers can conduct an inspection of the facility. Elston v. Alabama Attorney General Troy King, et al., No. 61-CV-2007-900017.00 (Ala. Cir. Ct., Talledaga Cty.).
The motion, filed Dec. 5 in Talledaga County Circuit Court, asks the court to allow the inspection of the Talladega Foundry & Machine Co. for the purposes of identifying and photographing documents and products at the site.
