OAKLAND, Calif. -- Parties in the coordinated California welding fume docket have proposed new trial scheduling plans, with the plaintiffs seeking multi-plaintiff trials and the defendants looking to implement a 60-day sliding track schedule. In re: Welding Products Cases, No. JCCP004368 (Calif. Super. Ct., Alameda Cty.).
In a Joint Case Management Conference Statement filed Dec. 5, the parties listed the next 24 cases they anticipate bringing to trial in the Alameda County Superior Court and also disputed the role of so-called peripheral defendants in the pending cases.
