JOPLIN, Mo. - Two experts who defendants said should be excluded from testifying in a silica case because they provided insufficient reports in support of their opinions have been given the green light by a federal judge. Covey v. American Optical Corp., et al., No. 06-217 (W.D. Mo.).
On Nov. 29, Judge Richard E. Dorr Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri denied a motion to exclude the testimony and strike the reports upon which they are based.
