CLEVELAND -- Defendants in the Welding Fume Products Liability Litigation MDL claim that the plaintiffs' statement regarding a failed class action never actually addresses what specific action they plan to take with the cases. In Re: Welding Fume Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 1535; Steele v. A.O. Smith (N.D. Ohio).

In the Oct. 29 response brief filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, the defendants claim that even the options plaintiffs do present are "vague" and "inappropriate."
