Expert Depositions Slated to Begin in Preparation for Jan. 2008 Trial




CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Parties are scheduled to begin expert depositions on Nov. 10 in a West Virginia welding fume case listed to begin trial on Jan. 8, 2007, sources told HarrisMartin. Bond, No. 06-C-322 (W.Va. Super. Ct., Mingo Cty.).

Discovery is currently ongoing in the Mingo County Superior Court case, Bond, and are expected to conclude in December, sources indicated.

The Bond case currently involves six welding fume plaintiffs. However, sources said it is not clear at this time if the trial will include the claims of one, or all, the plaintiffs in the case.
