Miss. Defendants File Briefs, Urge Against Adoption of 'Accomplice Liability'

JACKSON, Miss. -- Defendants who claim that a trial court erred when allowing a tort claim for aiding and abetting to proceed in a welding fume case argue in briefs filed in the Mississippi Supreme Court that the trial court's ruling "vastly expand[ed] tort liability in this state."
