CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - A state medical licensing board has filed a subpoena to obtain two dozen sets of X-rays from the repository of federal silica MDL as part of an investigation into three physicians who diagnosed plaintiffs with silica-related injuries. In re: Silica Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 1553 (S.D. Texas).
The subpoenas were noted in an Oct. 22 court filing in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas by defense liaison counsel requesting that the court provide further guidance in relation to the subpoena duces tecum issued by the Mississippi State Board of Medical Licensure.
