OAKLAND, Calif. -- Defendants in an upcoming California welding fume trial have filed motions to exclude testimony from certain plaintiffs' experts, saying the experts' opinions do not conform with the state's admissibility guidelines. In re: Welding Products Cases, JCCP No. 004368 (Calif. Super. Ct., Alameda Cty.); King, et al. v. BOC Group, et al., No. 04-429012 (Calif. Super. Ct., San Francisco Cty.).
In four separate Aug. 20 motions filed in the Alameda County Superior Court, defendants seek to exclude certain testimony of Robert J. Cunitz, Ph.D., Juan R. Sanchez-Ramos, M.D., Neil J. Zimmerman, Ph.D., and Richard Parent, Ph.D.
